Happy Valentine's Day! Just popping in to share what Logan and I made for his classmates, he did the embossing and assembly of the hearts. I used my Cricut to cut the hearts and printed out the sentiment. Super easy!

And no project is complete without twine, I used Doodlebug twine and I give it my official seal of approval!

Just wanted to share a layout that I made recently....

I Love This Boy

I made this layout for a challenge over on the Memory Works Studio. I went Crate Paper crazy on this layout! Paper and Chipboard shapes. It's usually hard for me to do Valentine-ish layouts of my boys, with all of the pink products out there for the holiday. This line is perfect though, with the yellow, teal and browns thrown in with the traditional pinks and reds.

True Confession Friday (it's back!)

I haven't come to confession in a while, so I have some scrappy confessions to share....

I should start putting my completed layouts in albums. I have a bunch of empty albums just waiting to be filled. But when I go into my studio I would rather create and make a mess instead of organizing. I don't think I have put a layout in an album in two years. I should really put this on my to do list, or tell myself that I cannot do anymore scrapping until I get these guys into albums! But then again, who is really going to hold me to that... not me.

Cards! This is another issue, I have to confess that I don't send cards, ever! I teach card classes at my LSS and have quite the stash going on. I sell some of them at my events and have given some away, but I still have a bunch. I am going to start sending them, sorry if you receive a birthday card even though it's not your birthday!!

So, those are my confessions for today. Don't worry I am not in danger of becoming a hoarder. I can still see the floor and furniture in my studio. The layouts are stacked neatly on a few shelves and my cards are contained in some baskets, neatly! So don't A&E or TLC on me :)

I have been a busy girl lately between CHA assignments, designing new classes and a few Teamworks assignments. I have lots of stuff to share with you here over the next couple of weeks!

First, I thought that I would share a few Valentine's Cards that I made, you know since Valetine's Day is right around the corner.

Be Mine Valentine

I created this card out of some of my scraps from my Simple Stories- 100 Days Of Summer kit. I also cut a heart out of a piece of scrap canvas that I had laying around.

Sending My Love

This card was made with Jillibean Soup- Apple Cheddar Soup line and Christmas Eve Chowder line. Again I was using some scraps from my overflowing stash.

I'm sure that we all have a small stash of scraps going on, dig into them and create a few cute cards. You don't have to use Valentine's themed product to make Valentine's projects!

Welcome back!! I've been Expecting you! Today's inspiration features Bella Blvd's new collection We're Expecting. This mini line is fabulous!! I only wish that I would have taken some preggo pictures of myself to pair with this line.

I am loving all of the soft grey, blue and yellow in this line! Grey is quickly making it's way up my list of favorite colors. This is another "borrowed" photo of my friend's pregnant belly at 38 weeks. So darn cute!

Aren't those little onesie's the cutest! I mixed this line with a little bit of the Baby Boy Collection, they compliment each other so well! Don't forget to check out those adorable Crochet Flowers! A must have!!!

The little cutie pie in the picture is Addison, she is the daughter of one of my coworkers. Yup, I had to borrow a few pictures to play with this paper!

Santa's Helper - Bella Blvd Layout

Santa's Helper

Just sharing a layout that I have featured over at the Bella Blvd Blog today. I made this one of Logan with his cute elf hat and slippers. He was a helper at a workshop that I co-taught at my local scrapbook store back in the beginning of December. We had three sessions, and it was an all day event. Logan stayed the whole time, never complained or asked "are we done yet?" He had just as much fun as I did!

I used Bella Blvd's Christmas Wishes line for this layout. I think it turned out pretty cute:)

December Daily Share

I wish that I could say I am completely caught up on my December Daily, I can't. I can say that I took a photo almost every day, I missed one day for sure. Not bad for me, so I am happy with that. I wanted to share a few of the pages of what I have done so far....

Day 2

The picture is underneath the flap, great way of hiding a not so great picture. It's a picture of our dinner, Taco Bell. Not all that exciting, but part of the day.

Day 3

As you can see I used several pages for Day 3, we were pretty busy teaching a workshop at The Scrapbook Store. Logan came along to be an "Elf Helper."

Day 11

Jumping to Day 11, we had the most amazing cupcakes. The Boys and I went our to do a little Christmas shopping and ran across a bakery, had to stop in and get some treats. The frosting on these cupcakes was to die for, I don't think I will ever eat cupcakes from anywhere else again, maybe.

Once I get some spare time to work on my book, I will be back with another post. Caution, it may be a long one!

O' Christmas Tree, O' Christmas Tree why are you so hard for me to photograph? I have to hardest time getting a really good picture of my Christmas Tree. I try every year, and it just isn't happening. Don't mind the fact that I do not have a tree topper, I have been looking for years and can't find one that I like. I keep looking, someday I will find one or just break down and make my own.

This is as good as it gets. Maybe I need a new camera, or a new house??

Does anyone else have this problem? Do you have any advice for me? If so, please share in the comments.

Vintage-ish Tags

I spent my evening getting ready for a cookie exchange that I will be attending tomorrow. Now you know that as a scrapbooker I cannot simply make cookies and show up. I had to get creative with the packaging. I started out with these tags. They were so easy to make! And I love how they turned out. They have a vintage feel to them. I had some pre-cut tags from the office supply store, so I didn't have much cutting to do. I picked up this cute stamp at a local crafty store. I was supposed to be Christmas shopping for my Family, but couldn't resist ( I needed it for my December Daily). Punched a snowflake out of kraft paper, added some berries, a button and assorted twine. And, boom! They are done. I made a few extra's for gifts as well.

This is what I did with the tags...

I stuck them on the front of terra cotta flower pots full of goodness. I didn't use a ton of adhesive just in case the recipient wanted to pop it off the flower pot and reuse it. I always enjoy making gifts, whether it be for Family, Friends, or my children's Teachers. I feel like I put alot more thought into a handmade gift rather than a store bought gift. And I get a chance to get crafty (win win).

Whew! Three days in a row of new blog posts! I have some making up to do. My little blog has been neglected lately, so I thought I should give it some attention before the Holiday Frenzy begins.

Another Fall-ish layout. I used a few different manufacturers here. Amy Tangerine, Studio Calico, Jillibean Soup and Bella Blvd. Everything tied together so well. If only I had some daylight to get better photos. Maybe I should call in sick to work, I could use the excuse that I need to take advantage of the daylight. Probably wouldn't fly? Yeah, I won't even try. I could take my camera and projects to work with me and sneak out on a break....hmm that might just work. Of course when the temperature gets below 0, I might not have much to share? Who knows.

So, only about 11 days left til Christmas! I need to finish shopping and start wrapping. I feel stressed out just putting that in black and white. Where's my Advil?

I just wanted to pop in an share a peek at the cover of my December Daily. This is the only photo of my December Daily that I have because it is the only page I have done so far! I have been doing really good with the pictures though. I have only missed one day. That is pretty good for me if I do say so myself.

I am using Wonder & Wishes by Little Yellow Bicycle throughout my December Daily. Trying to keep it uniform. I went thru my stash and gathered up a bunch of stuff to go with this line. I found ALOT of stuff. Really, I probably have enough to do three December Daily's.

I am planning to work on my DD on Friday, all day! I have a date with a good friend to scrapbook the day and night away. I can't wait!

Merry & Bright - Bella Blvd Sketch Challenge

Merry & Bright Snowflake Card

I created this card based on a sketch provided by Bella Blvd, you can find it here. The challenge for me was to use a layout sketch and make a card based on that sketch. I have to admit I started and started again, more than once. Hey, I said it was a challenge :)

I had a pack of these glittery snowflake ornaments that I picked up at the Dollar Store and added it to the front of the card. I didn't use a ton of adhesive on it so that the recipient of the card could pop it off and hang it on their Christmas Tree. Super cute and easy gift idea for Co-workers or Teachers.

Of course you are aware of my mad obsession with flags, and twine is not trailing too far behind right now. I love using twine on cards, it just gives them that extra little somethin' somethin'.

I created this card based on this sketch....

that I found at Sketch Support! I am finding it easier to follow sketches. At first it was a challenge, but I have grown to appreciate the ease of it. Kind of takes some of the guess work away. Don't get me wrong, I still love to design on my own, but when I am stuck I know where to find inspiration.

A little more about the card above, I used Bella Blvd's Christmas Wishes line, I love the bright colors! I created the little tree using three different sized circles, folded them in half and then in half again. Overlap them a little bit and you have yourself a little tree! Super easy and cute!!!

Just Playing Around

I made this on Picnik. I went in to create a collage. Chose an option with two photos. Uploaded only one photo. Then added text where the second photo should be. I have been seeing signs and Christmas decor all over the place with all of the different words and fonts. So, I just had to give it a try. I'm going to do another one with both of my boys on it to send out with our Christmas Cards.

So, I just had to stop in and share this. I always get excited when I "figure" something out!

Homemade Gifts

Oreo Truffles

These little delights are delicious! I am constantly being asked when I will be making them again. I usually only make them during the Christmas holiday and Valentine's. This year I intend to make about 10 batches! I plan to package them in something pretty and festive (I have a date with pinterest soon) and give them as gifts. I could rattle off about 15 people that will be beyond thrilled to receive these as a gift!

True Confession Friday

It's been a while, so I though I would share a few confessions...

I do not go shopping on Black Friday. I don't get it, why would you want to be in such large crowd of crazy people??
I love chocolate. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate. I am not at all fond of white chocolate, it makes my mouth itch.
I didn't cook anything for Thanksgiving this year! Nada! My husband did all of the cooking (very well I might add) and I got out of doing the dishes too. I'm gonna try this again next year!
I have issues with people who walk around toothless. Adults missing a front tooth. I don't get it at all! And they are always so smiley...close your mouth, get to the dentist!
And a quick public service announcement...boys it's time to pull up those pants! This fashion trend is not attractive and you will probably need a hip replacement in your future due to the fact that you have to walk so weird to keep those pants just below your butt.

Artist Tray

I bought this artist tray a while ago and have been holding onto it. Waiting for the perfect pictures and the right paper all to come together. That all finally happened after our little Fall photo shoot. Logan and I had so much fun at the park snapping photo's and acting silly! I ended up with about 200 pictures to choose from, and these are a few that I would call favorites...

I used Bella Blvd's Finally Fall collection on the tray as well as some Jillibean corrugated trees, Studio Calico veneer hearts, Jenni Bowlin chipboard flags, Doodlebug twine, and buttons. I love it when I can mix product from different manufacturers and they all blend together so well.

Santa's Workshop

at Sketch Support. I don't use many sketches and I should probably be ashamed to admit that I didn't even know about this site. I do know that I will be going back there often, they have some really amazing sketches over there!! I didn't follow the sketch 100%, I had to put my own twist on it, but my card is based on this sketch.

Don't Try This At Home!

Early in the morning it seemed like a good idea to hide Logan's Halloween candy in the oven. It was my attempt to keep him from going into a sugar coma after school.

I am here to tell you that is was NOT a good idea at all. It could have been if I had shared the information with Scott before he turned on the oven to make dinner. But I failed to do so, I sort of forgot all about it. I forgot until the oven beeped that is was preheated!

It was not pretty......

And Logan was not happy!

I told him that I would get him whatever candy he wanted (guilt and it was all half price today:). He said that he would think about it. Then I offered $10 instead of candy. His reply... I would rather have $20!!!! Funny, funny boy!!

I'm pretty sure this will be the most memorable Halloween ever!!

Cards- Baby Boy & Baby Girl

It's Friday!! Whew, this has been a long, busy week. I am looking forward to a little bit of couch time tonite.

I recently taught a few card classes and thought that this would be the perfect place to share some of the cards that we made in class. My card classes usually have a mixture of card themes. Today I want to show you the baby cards that we made.....

Baby Boy

I cut the baby onsie and letters on my Cricut. Embossed the onsie with the Cuttlebug and hand cut the flags. I normally do not utilize my Cricut for these classes, and don't know why?? It made prepping for the class so much EASIER!! Lesson learned!

Baby Girl

Same here with the onsie and the letters. I also bunched up some tulle for the skirt on the onsie and added a few pearls.

Winter Treats Pillow Box - Bella Blvd

Altered Pillow Box- Bella Blvd Winter Wonder

Happy Wednesday!! I just wanted to stop in a share a quick peek at a project I have posted over on the Bella Blvd blog today!! I altered these pillow boxes out of "recycled" packaging from Silly Bandz (remember those?) They came in these nice clear pillow boxes with minimal writing on the package. I was able to cover it with patterned paper and spruce it up a bit. These are great for classroom treats or small gifts (like diamonds???).

Just wanted to stop in and share a card that I made. Actually I made it quite a while ago! It was one that we made in my recent Cuttlebug Cards Class. Everyone took a turn using the Cuttlebug to emboss the brown cardstock and then put together this cute card. I did all of the heat embossing (the own) ahead of time, and gave a quick demo to those interested. I like to keep my classes fun and simple by having most of the supplies pre-cut and ready for assembly!

Just stopping in to share a layout that I created using the Memory Works Express kit for October. I love Halloween (I may have mentioned that here a bazillion times) so this kit was right up my alley. It was full of pattern paper, stickers, rub on's, cardstock, mini alpha's and more. I added some Mr. Huey's mist and a couple of punched clouds. Oh and some stamped bats (at the bottom of the layout),can't forget those guys!

First Day Freshman Year

A little closer....

Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I am the Mother of a High School Student!? In a couple of weeks he will be 15! Which means one thing...I am OLD!!!

I was going for "simple" on this layout, I think I acheived that. I used a few elements from one of my many Studio Calico kits that are still safe in their boxes. Love the canvas flags from Maya Rd! And I may have gotten a little crazy with Mr.Huey.

Slip Sliding Away.....

Just wanted to stop in and share a layout that I made this past weekend. I was at a weekend crop and this is one of the very few layouts that I completed. I really need to be more productive, but I can't stop chatting! :)

This layout is completely "out of the box" for me and I love it! First I gave some Mister Huey's Mists a try, then I stitched the sun on there. I love the stitching, but it can be time consuming, all worth it though! A little patterned paper, a photo and a title and poof it's done!!

Now I'm off to start my Mister Huey's collection........

He's My Brother- Bella Blvd Sketch Challenge

Hello!

It's been a little while since I have blogged and I haven't been scrapping much lately either. Actually I have been getting ready for a weekend scrapbooking retreat. There's a lot to be done to get ready for a scrappy get away, planning, packing and a little purging. Purging because I find lots of leftovers and scraps that I have neglected to deal with since the last event. Out of sight, out of mind..right?

Anyhow, I did squeeze in one layout recently for a sketch challenge from Bella Blvd. I don't use many sketched, but after this challenge I just might have to give more sketches a try. This was super easy, way easier than scraplifting! For me anyways! You can see the sketch over at the Bella Blvd blog, here is my take on the sketch......

For this challenge I used Bella Blvd's Tail Waggers and Cat Naps line. I love all of the colors in this line! It worked perfectly with my photo. Notice that I did a little journaling, will it become a habit? I also painted a few white Thickers to match the Bella Blvd Simply Simona Saltwater chipboard alpha's that I used on this layout.

Class Leftovers

I have been teaching classes at my LSS for a few years now and have accumulated lots of leftovers. I have finally decided to start doing something with all of those leftovers! I am working on making kits! I will have both layout kits and cards kits available for purchase at my crops. I am going to test out the kit business at my events and see how well it does, maybe it will lead to bigger things? Here is one of the cards that I made for a kit.....

Are you ready for another installment of True Confession Friday?? Good!! Let's just get right down to business...

I have been quoting the movie Stepbrothers all week. It is one of my favorite movies ever!! If you haven't seen it recently I suggest you watch (or re-watch) it this weekend!
I'm sad that one of my shows is over. Rescue Me, series finale last night. What will I watch next summer? I'll miss you Denis Leary!!
My studio is a little bit cleaner, spent some time in there last weekend. I have a few boxes of stuff to donate. Purging is good!
I'm probably going to have Halloween decorations up very very soon. One of my neighbors has had theirs up for over a week now. I used to be the first one to decorate, someone beat me to it. We'll see what happens at Christmas!
I had an Amish buggy on my blog and only one person mentioned it. It's an inside joke that I cannot share here. I am a little disappointed in my friends that did NOT notice it! It has been removed.

Happy September, we are wrapping up our first day back to school. We officially have a Freshman and a 3rd grader at our house. This upcoming school year should be quite interesting. As you can see below we got our traditional first day of school photo's taken. I may have taken too many. Jordan may have been a little concerned about the towel that I was wearing on my head as we ventured outside this morning. Logan cracked up at me in my pajamas and sneakers (anything for a smile:). But we got some good shots. I cannot believe how fast these guys are growing up!

We are approaching the first day of school here, the kids are less than happy about summer coming to an end. I can sympathize with them, a little. It will be nice to get back into the swing of things, although I am not looking forward to homework.

True Confession Friday

Are you ready for the third installment of True Confession Friday? Well, I am.. so here goes!

I am quite handy, as in I fixed my washing machine. I did this without the help of my husband. He says that I didn't really fix it because someone else told me what was wrong with it and what part I needed to fix it. But let me tell you something....I got that part, I installed that part, and said machine is in working order. Therefore I fixed it.
I shot a gun or two in my day (they were legal, registered firearms). Well exactly two. I have to say that other than the enormous bruise it left on my arm it was quite.... well......Awesome!! Don't worry I will not be replacing my scrapbooking hobby anytime soon (probably never).
When I was a kid we were kind of on our own for dinner on a regular basis. Mom worked second shift, Dad was drunk. It was not unusual for myself and my little brother to feast on a jar of pickles for dinner. Sometimes we would have pickle sandwiches, scrumptious!!
My Dad called me by my sister's name, Carrie alot. Sometimes by her first and middle name. It happened so often that he would call my work and ask for Carrie Lynn and they all knew who to give the phone to!! He may or may not have known that he had two daughters??
I still watch reruns of the original 90210, because that was good TV people! And Dylan, well Dylan was hot! So glad he and Brenda broke up!

So there you have it, getting to know me more and more. I'll be watching to make sure that I don't lose any Facebook friends or followers after this has posted to my blog....

Did I ever tell you the story about the time I was shopping at Archivers and I saw this.....

I kept looking this card thinking it looked familiar. I even walked away, shopped a little more. Looked at it again and realized that it looks alot like this....

I made this card for the Bella Blvd blog a while back. That is why it took me a little bit of time for it to click. That and the fact that I had just spent the day at CHA. At first I said "dang they could have given me credit." Now I think someone at Archivers scraplifted me!! Probably an employee? Which means people are noticing my work, and that is good enough for me!

True Confession Friday

Well, it has been a while since my last true confession. Thought I should give it another try.....

My ~~scrapbook room~~ studio looks like a small hurricane hit it. I just don't have the time or the drive to clean it. I'll keep you posted on the status of my studio when it improves. I feel a little guilty to clean my studio when I should be keeping the common areas of the house clean first. So, I get that done and need a couch break....
Still in love with Zing, my collection now has 9 different colors, and I'm not even done!
I cannot stand the little straw wrappers on the juice pouches! They end up everywhere but in the garbage. Why do those little suckers have to be so staticy (staticy may or may not be a word, today it is!)?
I always keep a pillow nearby when we are watching scary movies. My husband laughs, but you never know when you will need to hide from a bad guy!
I want to be the Oprah of scrapbooking (sorry, I already have a Gail and a Stedman).
The smell of hot dogs disgusts me, mustard too...yuck!
I watch Hoarders and sometimes I might yell at the people on the show. They can't hear me, but I have a book of matches with their name on it! Problem solved!!!

Riding Solo-Layout

Do you have any of photo's laying around that you want to add to a layout but just can't find the right paper? I have those, the photo's on the layout below are some of them. I have had these pictures paired with different paper several times. None of those papers seemed to work for me. Last week I was getting ready for a crop and came across a bag of scraps from a class that I taught this past spring. It was almost like winning the lottery (on a much smaller scale). This is the perfect paper for my pictures (at least I think so!). I used the Basic Grey Wander line and I love how this layout turned out!

A Challenge Layout.

I'm participating in a challenge over on the Memory Works Studio this month. We had a sketch to follow and this is what I came up with...

Sun Kissed Beach Bum

I used the Simple Stories: 100 Days Of Summer Kit. Lots of great patterns and embellishments in this kit!!

I also added a few Thickers, some Twinery twine, a few Fancy Pants deco pins and my trio of Fiskars cloud punches. Have I told you how much I love those cloud punches??

As I mentioned about we had to follow a sketch for this challenge. That is truly a challenge for me as I have a really hard time scraplifting or following a sketch (must be something wrong with me?). So, do you find it difficult to scraplift or follow a sketch too? If you are into sketches where are you finding the best ones??

And on another note I will no longer be referring to my scrap room as a scrap room. It will be called the "Studio" from now on. Everyone else is doing it, so I was feeling left out...not anymore :)

Catching Up....

Here is a little of what I have been up to lately...

Co-hosted an all day crop, taught a make and take. It's State Fair time here in Wisconsin so it seemed fitting to do a make and take on a stick. Since you can get pretty much anything you want on a stick at the State Fair.( This may sound strange if you are not from Wisconsin?) So the make and take was a Birthday card on a stick, featuring Jillibean's Dutch Mustard Soup line.

We do the make and takes in smaller groups.

Seemed like everyone enjoyed the make and take. A few people made it twice!

We always have a layout contest at the end of the evening. Everyone can submit layouts, up to three. Once submitted everyone gets a change to vote for their favorite....

This talented lady won the contest by popular vote. Love the 4th of July Theme!

Merchandise..

We also have a few vendors on hand with cash and carry merchandise. This is a photo of our Memory Works table. We also had reps from Close To My Heart and I Remember When.

We also provide lunch, dinner and beverages through out the day. Everyone also receives a Welcome Gift and the chance to win door prizes. Our next event is in November, hope to see all of you locals there!!

Class Sneak Peek- Summer Celebrations.

Just wanted to pop in and put up a few peeks at one of my upcoming classes at The Scrapbook Store. This is Summer Celebrations. In this class we will be using Jillibean's Watermelon Gazpacho Soup line! I love all of the bright colors in this line! We are making two 12X12 layouts, one themed 4th of July and one themed Fun In The Sun, We are also making a Birthday card, Gift Bag and coordinating flag.

I also have a Christmas Card Class and Cuttlebug Card Class. If you missed the kick off last night, don't worry! The classes will all be on display this Saturday at the Scrapbook Store.

True Confession Friday

So, I thought that I would start something new here - True Confession Friday. Maybe you can play along?

I have a mad addiction to pop dots!! I love to add dimension to my layouts and other projects and used several packages of them while working on my CHA projects!! Sometimes I double stack them for even more dimension!
I love Chef Boyardee, specifically Mini Ravioli's! I like to eat them with Cheetos. Just throw them right in there! It's tasty, try it before you judge me. Someday I will grow out of this phase?
I love to go fishing, but I would never touch a worm-- yuck!! They just gross me out!! I don't touch the fish either. Someone else has to get them off the hook. This is why I am the mother of all boys.

See wasn't that alot of fun? Don't you feel like you are getting to know me a little better?? I hope I don't scare anyone away!!

CHA Recap

Well let me start off by telling you that I had an amazing day at CHA!! I met so many "famous" people today! And the inspiration was top notch! First I have to start off by telling you who I met....

After we finished our day at CHA, we headed to dinner and a quick stop at Archiver's. Can you blame us? Who can be in a convention center full of new products and not have to urge to shop??

Vacation

We just got back from our annual trip to Minocqua, WI. We had lots of fun spending a week on the lake. We went fishing, swimming, boating, wave running, water skiing, wake boarding and relaxing. We saw a blue heron, eagles, deer, chipmunks, bats, raccoons and turtles. We caught some northern's, blue gills, sunfish and bass. We had a campfire and s'mores. We got eaten alive by mosquitoes. We spent time with good friends, laughing and having a great time. Logan had the most filthy feet I have ever seen! We used quite a few band aids (mostly Logan), a bottle of sunscreen and bug repellent. We are happy to be home but looking forward to our next trip up north!

Unfortunately I only have one project to share. I did make more, I just didn't get the chance to photograph them before I turned them in. Poor planning on my part :( Anyhow, let's talk about how C.U.T.E. this collection is!! I love all of the colors and the patterns. I personally prefer the non traditional colors when scrapping Christmas, so this was right up my alley.The hits of blue and yellow are perfect!! The chipboard is fabulous as well, so make sure you grab some up as soon as you find them in your local scrapbook store! You can see the entire collection over at the Bella Blvd blog.

I Love this stuff!!

I just thought that you should know. It is my new favorite embossing powder. It make's me want to stamp everywhere on everything! I feel the need to start a collection, stay tuned. So far I have two. Ask me how many I have a month from now.

I don't even know what to say. I am not usually at a loss for words.

I can remember putting him on the school bus on the first day of Kindergarten almost like it was yesterday.

In Fall I will be sending him off to High School?

How does this happen?

How does time fly by so darn fast?

How is it that in two years he will be able to drive a car?

How is it that in four years he will be starting College?

This next four years is going to go by so fast, I can't even think about it.

I think I'm raising him right.

Tuesday Card Inspiration

Thought that I would share a few cards that I made. Some of them were for a class and other assignments. So, here goes.....

This one is my favorite! I used Basic Grey Wander for this one. Love the red embossed cardstock too!

Lots of Bella Blvd here and I also got to use my Tim Holz Rosette die!

A couple of owls! This is one of those all purpose cards, can be used for any occasion really.

Can't forget about Graduation. Lots of that going on right now. We have one here graduation from 8th grade on Thursday.

I used my Cuttlebug to emboss all of the cardstock on these cards. These cards were featured in my Cuttlebug Card Class.

Every now and then I struggle with title's for my layouts. I know I am not alone. I have been to many crops and had people ask "what should I title this one?" or "how does ..... sound?" Does every layout really need a title? Sometimes I wonder...... If a picture is worth a thousand words what do we need titles for? Anyhow, that is one of those random thoughts that I warned you about in the past. So, onto a little bit of inspiration....

Coloring Easter Eggs

Most people that know me know that Easter is my least favorite holiday to scrap. So this is quite the accomplishment for me. I don't know for sure why I have an issue with Easter layouts, maybe it is the lack of product out there for the holiday (there isn't much to choose from) or all of those pastel colors together at one time. Who's know.... But I did manage one:)
